HeskyR32 Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 If you don't want to put a fan over it get an old mobo then scavenge for any aluminum mosfet coolers or similar to that effect. I did and added them on my SLI-DR and the temp came to an average of 8-10 degrees. I stuck them with a bit of super glue and put a dab of AS5 on them. good Idea! LazyBum Posted February 9, 2006 Posted February 9, 2006 Just put my Opty 170 up on the OC database, 275x10 seems to be the wall, after that core 0 craps out on me :confused: Core one keeps on chugging though. A rock solid 2750 dual core should be quite adequate for gaming and video encoding I think Pretty low volts too, so it should last a long time.
