For whom who think 8 hrs stable is enough ;)

My Opty 175 can't be stable after 9th hour. (10x265) in Prime95

(around 9hrs 23 mins)

Now I am running 262x10 1.525v 102% for 24hrs of Prime95 (each core using 920MB for testing)

If ya wanna test Prime95, I suggest you test it for 24 hrs to make sure that's stable

I got an error after 9th in Prime95

So sad that my Opty 175 has poor o/c potential.

I will put my sig after I found the stable rig.

Mines 0550UPMW and ive had 2.7 working fine but prime doesnt like it at all. Prime even has a benny at 2.5 lol. BF2 full detail no problem and all sorts. I dont trust these benchmark programs at all. If it does what you want it do without any bother, Thats fine with me.

Also though, Ihave the 2GB ballistix Kit which is on my second set 2 months in. THese are reknown for failing 1-3 month in and have been discontinued. I recon they may be causeing my system problems and are on there way out at the minute. But also problems also started when i put my opty in after my winnie 3500+ and i dont think windows took to kindly to the heart transplant lol.

But im getting a raptor 150 this week so fresh install is on its way :)

joek71: Like your sig lol ;)

Thanks i_wheeldon, but I am trying to make it stable 250*11 1/1 divider but for some reason it keeps crapping out after 2+hrs.

I think your stepping is the same as mine.

I have this info for you

I ran at 10x262 1.525v 102% vdimm 2.8 (1:1) LDT 1.4 Chip 1.72

at 2 x Prime95 (using ram 950MB). One of Primes failed at 28 hrs 14 minutes

And I has tested @2700 (10x270 or 245x11), Longest Prime95 failed at 9 hrs (1.55v x 102%)

I might have a poor o/c potential

I figured this would be the best place to post this....

Ok put my system together not to long ago.. and have been doing some overclocking.. i have had alot of help from the users here and have a better understanding..but i am having some issues.. and hopfully you can help

Right now my system is over clocked to 2.552Ghz memory is at 230mhz

Here is how its set up

FSB Freq 235

LDT/FSB x4

CPU/FSB freq ratio X11.0

cpu vid control 1.400V

DRAM

01/01

Now like i have read they say to bumb down your mem to take it out of the equation and just start with the CPU.. but once i hit like 235 to 240 i just don't seem to get any gains.. even with pushing the voltage up to 1.5. maybe this is all ill get but i was hoping for around 1.7 - 1.8Gigs.. maybe i was setting my goals too high im not sure.. if anyone has any suggestions or advice it would be great!

or more info!

Thanks

Chris
