wevsspot Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 In order to remain competetive you always have to dream about the paradigm shifts that will lead to the next big break through, whether that's in technology, transportation, distribution, service etc. whatever. In fact, DFI-Street is a perfect example of someone (aka AG) seeing a paradigm shift in the way a particular brand of motherboard could be supported. Kodak vs. digital cameras sound familiar? how about pagers vs. cell phones? and fax machines vs. scan and email? DFI is smart, they know that in order to maintain and increase sales they have to be on the leading edge of technology. It's what keeps idiots like me broke. Spending 2 or 3 thousand dollars a year upgrading stuff so I can claim I've got the latest and greatest. Often replacing gear that is working perfectly fine. The new boards look really cool. Guess it's time to start saving right now
