ExtraPickles Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 Realy like the little color coding for ATX, Spkr, HDD LED, etc on the board. soundx98 Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 PERKS OF BEING OVER 50 1. Kidnappers are not very interested in you. 2. In a hostage situation you are likely to be released first. 3. No one expects you to run--anywhere. 4. People call at 9 pm and ask, " Did I wake you?" 5. People no longer view you as a hypochondriac. 6. There is nothing left to learn the hard way. 7. Things you buy now won't wear out. 8. You can eat dinner at 4 pm. 9. You can live without . but not your glasses. 10. You enjoy hearing about other people's operations. 11. You get into heated arguments about pension plans. 12. You no longer think of speed limits as a challenge. 13. You quit trying to hold your stomach in no matter who walks into the room. 14. You sing along with elevator music. 15. Your eyes won't get much worse. 16. Your investment in health insurance is finally beginning to pay off. 17. Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the national weather service. 18. Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either. 19. Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size. 20. You can't remember who sent posted this list. 21. You get light-headed thinking about Dual Crossfire Cards on the RDX-200
RGone Posted October 16, 2005 Posted October 16, 2005 And last but not least: 21. dinos22 Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 Would like to know about the Oskar 1T 4x512 trick. Bigtoe's got a big thread over at XS........it looks like Drive strength value goes up to 15..........so he's just used the loosest value.....and got his RAM running at 1T (4xsticks of course) ....did some benchmarks and it seems to outperform 2T so maybe it's not just a gimmick like CA1.5 is/was............ looks good so far.......it would be nice to see if it would go past DDR400.....and even more interesting to see how Winbond RAM performs Tony's Thread http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=76824 4X OCZ3200Plat rev2 at ddr400 1T CPU-Z and Tweaker showing the dimms timings ETC If you want to quote you can edit out the images! Oskar has opened up all levels of drive from the memory controller, 0 to 15 is selectable. This board must have next to zero crosstalk to be able to do this as the amount of dram drive needed is huge.

Angry_Games Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 ive got a 335MB video of how to put it together start-to-finish (well, from pulling it out of the static bag to getting windows installed) not really much to it...same build routine as the NF4...one stick of memory, boot up, load optimized defaults, set bios how you like it, install windows...pretty easy stuff but I made a vid just in case...
