red930 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 why do 24hr shops have doors with locks on them? When hurricane Andrew hit Baton Rouge back in 1992 there were lots of places that had never closed in years and there weren't any keys to lock the doors that had locks. I remember the Waffel House near my parents house had to call out locksmiths to put new locks in so they could actually leave the buildings. General Septem Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 and...? Well, and nothing, it's just not something I'd do. Did she ask you to or did you just offer?
DuTcH Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 offered, again why??
General Septem Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 offered, again why?? Just not something I'd reccomend, that's all. It seems to open the door for women to start using you. Plus it kind of puts her on a pedestal, which doesn't do much for your respect. But I digress.
DuTcH Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 no its interesting i'd never thought about that way, just how i was brought up i guess, probably where i went wrong!!
General Septem Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 no its interesting i'd never thought about that way, just how i was brought up i guess, probably where i went wrong!! It's kind of counter-intuitive but it certianly makes sense. That's not to say you shouldn't be a nice guy of course, but you can do that and still captivate the interest of others. But I'm no expert for sure.

momma Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 I drink tons of water but we do filter ours through something because drinking just straight city water is disgusting. AG drink OJ like its going out of style.
SanguineI Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Yes. Here in America we have decided that instead of cleaning/purifying our tap water to drinkable standards, we'd rather buy our water in individual bottles all the time. Angry_Games Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 keep in mind America probably has the cleanest "tap water" in the world....full of flouride, chlorinated and ultra-processed to make sure it's safe we drink a lot of water so should you, it's good for you
