The batch file that comes to flash in the packages is written wrong. It cause the same blank screen with cursor hang when I tried it.

Just put awdflash.exe and the 711.rom on a bootdisk the flash using

a:awdflash 711.rom /CC /F

I've always just made a Boot disk within XP, copied over the Autoexec, BIOS, and AWDFLASH and its worked perfectly fine. Never had to type anything, all automatic.

oooooh, new BIOS...will give that a try tonight when i get home from work...

however, im having a new problem...

my computer locks up occasionally (mostly on a cold-boot) when it gets to the "varifying DMI data pool..."...it will just sit there, if i reset, no problem

have tried with my TCC5 and BH-5, so, i doubt it is the RAM...

i am running the 705 BIOS

any ideas???

You must remove the cheap fan first by unscrewing it off the heatsink.

Then turn over the motherboard and pick out the two holding plastics and if you have one, get a hairdryer and put it on the lowest setting and warm the back of where the chipset is. Not too close, it doesn't need to be very warm.

I then got a thin small screwdriver and slighty pinched the heatsink and it removed quite easily.

Thank you very very much.....

i just buy a pair of TCCD from patriot.

i follow all the setting you did.

it is running good now.

i have some question here.

1.i didnt use weak drive and 50%reduction and i didnt try it.

i try it with my utt ch-5, can only run at 15%reduction with weak drive.

30% and 50%, my pc wont post at all.

is there any benefit of using it???

frm what i know from here, it is to make ram more stable.

i running them at 300 2.5.4.7.3 2Tmemtest ok.

2.i saw some user of other MB can did 1T 2.5.3.3.7 300FSB with the same ram.

but i think our MB can only run around 300 2.5.4.7.3 2t.

what is the problem???

ram?cpu?MB?

3.my cpu is running prime 95, and temperature report from smartguardian

is 65C.

is this ok???

The damned batch file refers to NF3ID815.zip! Not the .bin file :D I'm amazed these guys don't double check this stuff before posting it up for download...Lordy!
