@Supershanks - even a solid piece of wire has some resistance.

while there should be no difference I'd use the points shown.

The AUX connector has 3.3v and ground. not ALL SATA connectors do.

@Alienwhere- yes it works with the Expert. But many believe that some boards report temps 8-10 degrees low. DFI Taiwan is looking at it.

@DangerIsGo - yes something is wrong if you are talking about file I posted in thread. Did you use the Configuration Wizzard? That is a no-no. When you copied the Data file did it ask you if you wanted to overwrite? It should have.

soundx98,

Thanks again for your help. My unit doesn't have the aux connecter but does have the full sata set. :)

Edit:

Idle

Load

MBMPostMod_Load.PNG

Only values (don't count Chipset & LDT Volts) a bit adrift to multim are on load 12v = 12.13 & vcore at 1.41v but can live with that

cheers Mord & soundx98 :)

@Supershanks Happy to see you busy, my friend. soundx98 is right about the ground point.

@soundx98 I've sent you the info. But, how the hell do you add the ACPI sensor in MBM5?!

PS: Got my RMA'd 6800GT :cool: . Time to change my sig :D.

Best regards,

Abyss

Interesting results on vdimm:-

Bios - MM

2.9 = 2.97

2.8+ = 2.92

2.8 = 2.88

2.7+ = 2.81

tested earlier with ground probe in molex.

having both your replies i re-measured using mobo points after swapping fans out Another reason for using single Probe :) Results were the same. So my Vdimm is roughly .07 above bios, i expected a bit from what i've read but not quiet that much. :rolleyes:

I'm sorry if this has been covered already, but is there a different data file for the Expert board? Or do I just use the NF4 file?

hehehe, yes it's been covered. 5 posts above you :)

Use the same file on the Expert board.
