OCFreak Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I just wanted to first introduce myself. I am not new to computers at all, or OCing, but I am new to the forum. I have viewed it for years but never joined. I recently completed a new gaming/HTPC build and wanted share some of the specs and scores: AMD Athlon II X4 620 (running at 3.25GHz on 1.45v) GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P motherboard G-Skill DDR2-800MHz 4-4-4-12 Sapphire HD 4770 (Core: 890MHz Memory: 1030MHz) WD Caviar Black 640GB HDs Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 Rev. 2 cooling Antec 300 Case wiht 140mmx1 and 120mmx1 case fans Antec EarthWatts 500W PS I am using a Toshiba 1080p LCD for the display and Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers for sound. So far I like the new processor, it definitely has more legs than I expected, with the voltage at 1.5v I was able to get it to do 3.5GHz and running stable. This is on air of course. OCFreak Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Thanks very much guys! UPDATE: I have now overclocked successfully and stable to 3.510GHz @ 1.45v and it is 100% stable. Settings: Multiplier : x13 Bus: 270MHz HT/NB Multipliers : x8 Memory : 900MHz (x3.33) Best OC I have ever seen out of a $99 CPU. I am loving these new Athlon II's!
