Amd 4000mhz and beyond

Big Scania truck intercooler with 2 80mm fans and one 12cm fan, aluminium welded cpucooler,230v circulations-pump for a house and 9.5 litre of coolant

memory 1600mhz , 7-7-7-20-4-33-4-10-4 at 2.06 volt, start with 2.04v and use internet explorer to surf, if you get error in explorer raise 0.02 volt in steps.

I have the same CPU, it can take max 1.65v. When you go over that thats when trouble starts to come.

 

I have been forever trying to get 4Ghz @ NB 3000 Mhz and just cant do it. Core 2 fails everytime at those NB clocks. In order for me to OC 4Ghz I have to set my voltage at 1.65v holding temps below 53c.

 

I dont know why my rig is so hungry for that kind of voltage.

 

My limitation of hitting 4Ghz might be due to Vista 64bit Ultimate. There is one more trick for this and that is to reinstall the OS with my max stable clock speed of 3.9 Ghz @ NB 2800 Mhz - DDR2 1066 4Gb.
