redtigerdragon Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 California Utility Company to get Solar Energy from Space. Pretty crazy stuff. I can honestly say I have no idea how it works. How do you turn energy into radio waves? And if that's true why can't we just do that now?

Phil Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I though all solar energy came from space. That's where the sun is. Of course there couldn't possibly be any unintended consequences from bombarding the earth with massive amounts of RF waves from space 24 hours a day. Crazy_Nate Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 ... So...isn't renewable energy supposed to help with global warming? Transferring more energy into our atmosphere doesn't strike me as helpful
