Well your rig certainly looks & tests capable but the way you have presented the is all wrong. As drteming said "Dude, read the first page of the thread" http://www.diy-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56456 & that will tell you what you need to do. This is the link to the OCDB where you should post your results. http://www.diy-street.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=28 & this is the link to the rules for the OCDB or in other words what you need to do to get an OCDB entry. http://www.diy-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10192 Regards Craig. EdLSmith Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Had this 165 laying around for almost a year and just thought I would try it out. Brought it up at 2.88 Ghz @ 1.45 Vcore. I'm a little over 2 hours into Orthos. I'm on 166 divider Looking fine at this time. Really won't know till I set to 3.0 though. I am going out of the building business. When I get a little tired, my left hand just shakes like crazy and can't screw worth a d**n. took an hour to get this chip in. A little two minute job gets very difficult. I guess I will start using custom built stuff, expensive but just fine. 'm looking at the Voodoo by HP I like the QX6800 with sli of 8800 GTX's runs about $7200.00 with shipping and warrantees. With the 24K Gold case it's $11000, but it doesn't run any better with gold. I had a bit of a scare the other day, I went to Drivers License Service to do a change of address and they had me read the chart - missed the first character but realized they were using Stereo, I closed my right eye and saw the first number was a 9. Whew, I would have lost my license and had to early terminate the lease on my Corvette. Oh well, alls well that ends right side up. My right eye has a vision loss from my stroke. Left eye is 20/20. No Glasses required.

Chump Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 I can't do it like you want it . Its you that wants to get into the OCDB don't blame me for the rules I am just trying to help you. Dude I don't mean to be rude but read the OCDB rules ffs. This is a link to the rules http://www.diy-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10192 & this is a link to the 2nd post on that rules thread http://www.diy-street.com/forum/showpost.p...322&postcount=2 A this is a cut & paste from the 2nd post in the rules thread note the nice big red bit. OCDB FAQ If you have questions on any of the above post in the appropriate discussion thread or contact a moderator BEFORE posting in the OCDB. Entries that do not meet the the above will be deleted immediately. Save your work in notepad/word and the template in the event of a deletion. Members should EDIT their original entry UNLESS there has been a HARDWARE CHANGE (cpu, RAM, or motherboard. Video cards, hdd's, etc do not count). MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE THE VALUES WITHIN THE TEMPLATE TO YOUR OWN VALUES/SETTINGS. THEN COPY THE TEXT FROM THE TEMPLATE INTO THE OC DATABASE ENTRY POST YOU ARE MAKING!!! You will notice some early OCDB/SSDB Entries used Prime95. Please ignore this as we've moved to SP2004/Orthos as it has a better GUI. There is NO DIFFERENCE (SP2004/Orthos is simply a GUI on top of Prime95's code). If you wish to enter a motherboard that does not have a template already created, you MUST create one and you MUST submit the template along with the proper screens of your motherboard's BIOS to us. If it is a properly definied template, we will host it for others who have your motherboard, and you will then be allowed to submit your entry. Entries submitted without proper templates will be deleted WITHOUT NOTICE Regards Craig.
dr_bowtie Posted April 25, 2007 Posted April 25, 2007 Correct...the best way is to look at every template and see if one is close to yours... You can copy the closest one to notepad and modify it to match your... just take bios screen shots with a digital camera and link them along with your modified template... Just make sure if you link pictures they are within the rules size... I have had to do it...it is time consuming but not as bad as you think...I had mine done in 2-30minutes or so.... That's probably best way to handle the situation, but I'm kinda chicken.
oc newbie Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 http://www.diy-street.com/forum/showpost.p...2&postcount=409 Hey TFK when you put this one on the list would it be ok if we listed it with a /livewire for the user name? This is my buddies rig and he isn't going to be able to use it for quite awhile. This is the other 146 I bought when I got mine so I knew it would pull 3g's but he just didn't get around to finishing it up.
CPDMF Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 That's a bummer Ed. Don't know if I can stand to watch you buy a rig from HP though. Plenty of people here that would be more than willing to assemble a rig for you. Doubt they would even charge you. I'd assemble it for nothing and ship it out to you.
