dfx Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 yes, it primes at 1.66v @ 3.45ghz, 1.68v @ 3.5ghz, but I am only stable if my memory is below 170mhz, at ANY cpu speed. I only puy it up that high breifly to find the max PI OC, it ran a 1M at 3.6xx, but crashed when i tried to take a SS. CPU temp was -23'C under load at that voltage. Doubt under load @ -23c -20c n' below you wouldnt had been able to boot up or run stable due to cold bug Unless Vcore @ around 1.8v and above
Gadfly Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 That temp is at the evaporator, not the core. IHS is still in place.

Gadfly Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 WHat a mistake. Cheap ram doesn't work with these boards. Kingston HyperX 2-2-2-5-1 @ 2.6v is what it said on the package. BH-5? I picked this kit up for my other box, (K8N Neo 2) home theater PC. 1GB kit was $129.95, seamed like a good deal. I should get som TCCD memory to see if that helps, any advice on which ones to get? Gadfly Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Great thread. I wonder what memory in in that HyperX, 2-2-2-5-1, might be TCCD. i saw some people are hitting 300mhz+ with the TCCD chips, might be worth a go. Then I could just run 1:1 I have some XMS cousair DDR500 TCCC memory i could try also.

ixtapalapaquetl Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 I just got home with my 175. It's a CCBWE 0530TPMW. Going to get to work on it as soon as I finish eating. Will get back with some preliminary results tonight.

What kind of dedication is that
