Trevor Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Hey I'm having problems with folding on my x2. I both of the instances in separate folders and the -local in the command line. I have the shortcuts load in the startup folder in start menu. #1 Whenever I finish a wu It says "Deadline not recieved" and I get no points. #2 Every time both instances always do the same wu no matter what #3 whenever I start the computer and both of them start up, one of them exits and I have to open it my self. #4 Why is this thread in the AMD Overclocking area? Whatever tutorial I read was not clear enough so I was confuesed when setting it up. I would set these up as a service instead of the startup folder thing. You already said you have seperate folders which is good. synergymus Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 okay make two folders (C:FAH and C:FAH2) download two copies(don't just copy do two downloads) of console client here hit "windows-key" r or go to start run and run C:FAHFAHConsole-5.04beta.exe -configonly then answer questions: user name: your username Team Number: 45454 Launch this program auto, install as a service?: yes ask before fetching/sending work?: no Use IE settings:? no use proxy:? no allow big wus? yes change advanced options? yes (this is important) core priority?: idle cpu usage requested? 100 disable highly optimized assembly code? no pause if battery power is being used? no Iterval in minutes between checkpoints? 30 Memory to use? max request work w/o deadlines? no set -advmethods? yes ignore deadline info? no Machine ID? 1 hit "windows-key" r or go to start run and run C:FAH2FAHConsole-5.04beta.exe -configonly answer all the same except machine id = 2 then restart... you should be setup....PM me if you don't get it set up and we can jabber or something Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
WoL-Shiver Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 hi guys, in the event that anyones been watching me, i stopped folding ebcause my rig was in the unstable part of the game, ive finally got it stable @ 255*11 1:1 - so ill be back to folding to help out the team and the cause!!! ive already completed 2 large wus and 1 small, go DFI STREET!!!!
