Fight Game Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 I had asked earlier about running 2 clients of folding on 1 computer (with no dual processor or dual core). Someone responded about doing it with intel hyperthreading. What I want to know is, is there anything to gain by doing this with the rig in my sig, or one of my other rigs, which are 1.6ghz pentium's oc'd to 2.4, 1gig ram. If so, how do I go about it. Currently I have 2 rigs folding, but hopefully I'll get time to get the 3rd and possibly 4th rig up and running good, and have them fold too. Angry_Games Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 if you dont have dual cpu's or a dual core, only run 1 instance of it. the P4's hyperthreading can run two, but it is not as efficient as true dual cores or true dual cpu's.
