THEnumber337 Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Hey guys, How has everyone been doing? It doesn't seem like there as much as discussion going on here as there once was. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm still waiting to see some pictures of folding rigs!

ReelFiles Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 June 1st. Is the SMP client for Windows any good yet or should I wait for it to come out of beta?
tasr Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Reel, WinSMP does a good for me on the rig in my sig. You'll need .net ver2 installed to run it. All the SMP client are in beta. My C2D FahMon Benchmarks as followed: Project : 2605 Core : Gromacs SMP Frames : 100 Credit : 1760 -- ICFX3200 -- Min. Time / Frame : 28mn 06s - 901.92 ppd Avg. ReelFiles Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Might give that a whirl then, my average seems kinda low to me, considering all the rigs I got running. I have .NET3.0 installed, wonder if that matters.
ReelFiles Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 I am only getting 20% CPU usage max out of the smp client, I triedrestarting the service then the PC
Thraxz Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Something is wrong if your getting more than 1-2% on the mpiexec... Fah1a (four copies of it) should be roughly 20-30% each.
ReelFiles Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 I would say so, considering that Fah1a isn't listed once in my process list, hehe. I guess I'll try re-installing the client, might as well re-image to a clean install while I am at it, only takes like 5 mins anyways. Well I am off to 2 parties in a row (argh, I hate parties), I'll let ya know what happens late tonight or tomorrow.

Kingfisher Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 While running my Win SMP , whenever I receive the 2652 project at some point it gives this error and then restarts from 0%. Kind of frustrating why, any ideas besides the smart-butt kind? 2652a 2652b
