Thanks, I just tried that, adding it to the dll folder, no go though :.

Edit:

It's not my driver either.

Ok...

Everything that is supposed to beable to read it, can, this plugin can't.

7.0, 7.2 and 7.2 sli, none of them work :.

Awesome work guys lol, jk'ing lol.

None the less, it does'nt work on my end :.

Not a user error.

Edit:

Hold on a sec here....

It seems to displaying stuff other then 0c, one of those sensors, only if I use it on the taskbar, but not the osd thing..

I'm gonna take a closer look at this, brb.

Edit:

It works...

Very very very slow at updating though.

No wonder I never saw it.

This plugin..., I don't like dudes, it's to slow.

No offence, it's cool and all, but really useless.

Lol...

Sometimes it does'nt even display the correct temp :, ie 0c, defeantly needs work dudes.

I still think it is a user error :)

Are the temperature sensors 25 & 26 set to "Custom" and not to "None" ?

edit: it updates whenever the MBM updates so also check your update interval

I tried sensors 24 and 25, in ver 7.0.

So yeah I tried the wrong ones or something.

It had the temp correct though for my diode, but was freaking slow as heck, and would hit 0c once in a while.

0c is'nt right though.

I did'nt think before I needed to pick a specific sensor(1st time).

Also I tried both custom and none.

mbm is setup in 1s intervals, the lowest allowed.

I'm gonna recheck this, both 25 and 26.

25 is right for my diode, but it hits 0c sometimes.

Ah wierd, my mbm is acting up.

I had to display 26 in my taskbar, now both 25 and 26 are in the taskbar though.

(Edit: I was trying to get 26 to display in the dashboard, it did after I said to display it in the taskbar, that's what is strange).

(MBM).

None th less 26 is allways 0c, whatever it was supposed to be, I prbably don't have it(it's probably ambient?).

25 is ramdomly hitting 0c though.

I'm not even chnaging anything, just typing here and it's doing ok for a bit then bam, 0c, now it's 35c again...

36c.., it's updaing allright it seems, but that 0c thing is wierd.

I must of thaught it was updating slow because:

It took a bit to start working, and my temps did'nt chnage much at all the last time I was messing(was 38c before).

0c again.

Anyways else get this prob?

It's like I'm updating to fast or something...

Maybe a buffer should be inplimented in this plugin, so it reads back the last value instead of 0c when it's not ready?

Or is it something else?

You're right though, it was user error, this is a bit messed up though.

I don't think it's updating to fast now though, I saw it change from 35 to 36 and stuff with in a sec np's...

I'm gonna stick with rivatuner though for now, until this thing works a bit better on my end.

I like the graph anyways ;).

Then again I've heard there was a graphing plugin for mbm, but I never looked for it.

I did'nt try rivatuner and mbm at the same time, but it seemed like it was right on with rivatuner.

Kinda wierd though, because rivatuner was'nt running when it was doing the odd 0c thing either.

I wonder if it's something to do with my bios mods on the card...

It does'nt allways show up the post screen that fast, not like stock.

This happens if I clear my cmos, I won't see a screen until I wreach inside a bios :.

Windows is faster though lol, that's all I cared about...

Not the norm bios mods though, most of it was with a hex editor.

None the less I know it's not my custom driver at least lol, was reluntent to talk about that before to tell the truth, I removed everything custom out of it and it was still acting up the last time though.

Ohwell though ;).

One prob out how many?, I dn myself but if everyone can use it allright, then that's cool :).

I can still do the rivatuner thing, it's nothing bad anyways, I dn mind rivatuner in the background while I'm benching.

I don't care about clocks, now, because I remember I have all 3 clocks identical.

If I'm testing, I know to change the idle clock as well.

If I don't it'll automaticly fallback to it, even if it's a bigger clock lol.

It does this if I down clock or overclock.

One error per app in windws, if and only if I change the clocks to something diffrent from the bios.

If I oc from the bios, no errors, no rendering erors either unless it's a real prob, then most of the time I'll get an error about that in the log, which is normal stuff.

The reason why I said I did'nt want it in the plugin because I was worried about it conflicting with rivatuner.

That's when I realized it does'nt matter anymore, I allways setup all 3 clocks, I don't even have the clocks displayed in rivatuner anymore because i figuered that prob out.

My goof for even mentioning about the clocks :).

I can decide not to display them or use the older ver anyways.

One problem out of ~3500 downloads :D

One last chance - post you "DataMBM 5.ini" file so I can have a look at it. If I don't find anything wrong you'll be the first NV user it doesn't work for

Strangest thing, yesterday when I went to re-try it, it worked.

I forgot to del the dll.

I only had to restart the plugin and it worked fine, now on custom a name automaticly pops up for each sensor.

I noticed mbm would hide certain sensors(new ones) under my previous ones.

Diffrent odd things.

Mbm, allways works good after you got it setup lol(except or the taskbar order but no matter).

So I guess I only need to restart mbm after initial installation of the plugin ^^ .

Works good now, no 0c problems either ;).

It's right on with rivatuner's graph for the diode temp.

But one of them is a sec or 2 off, not a huge deal.

Both update every sec though.

Overall, I'm happy :), it does work good.

Just you have to give it a bit of time, ie mbm, allways gotta baby mbm(I've had diffrent issues before where some of my preferences would'nt stick and other odds and ends).

_xhp_, thanks for the support on this ;).

I probably would'nt of re-looked at the sensor #'s if it was'nt for you.

Hey, I just wanted to thank all of you who have contributed to the MBM configuration and guide. You guys rock! I got MBM5 configured to read everything including the temperature of my kitchen sink (just kidding ;) ). Very cool stuff.

K.. Firstly thanks to Alex and to soundx98 and _xhp_ for making the effort to get this to us all. I love MBM5 and now it's even cooler. Forgive me for not reading through 70+ pages worth of posts to find a solution, but.. I followed all the directions from soundx98's and _xhp_'s posts and got the plugin (7.0) working. I can see the core and ambient temps for my 6800GT in the display properties, and I can see them both in the small display in the quick launch menu; but I can see neither in the dashboard. Also curiously, when I highlight the quick launch display, it displays text readouts of case/socket/diode [edit]Not! It actually displays text of case/cpu/chipset which is not what it was before![/edit] just like it did before.. very strange. I have the latest ver of MBM5.

Here's a copy of my sys info:

--Sensor Chip Readings--

Temperature Readout[1] : 41

Temperature Readout[2] : 49

Temperature Readout[3] : 45

Temperature Readout[4] : 41

Temperature Readout[5] : 0

Temperature Readout[6] : 0

Temperature Readout[7] : 40

Temperature Readout[8] : 0

Temperature Readout[25] : 64

Temperature Readout[26] : 46

Voltage Readout[1] : 1.808

Voltage Readout[2] : 1.488

Voltage Readout[3] : 3.296

Voltage Readout[4] : 5.1072

Voltage Readout[5] : 10.2752

Voltage Readout[6] : 0.512

Voltage Readout[7] : 2.832

Fan Readout[1] : 5037

Fan Readout[2] : 2860

I don't know what I did wrong, but it was obviously something. :

EDIT: One would be more successfull if actually readed instructions to the end!! :tooth: So I'll keep this post here to remind peoples about reading all the instructions before jumping to conclusions!!
