I am now using the mbmfiles from here for it and it works, but It doesn't read the GPU or HDD temps....... Do have you have SMART enabled in bios and in MBM5 for HDD? 1st 7800 in the thread but if you are getting reading in RivaTuner it should be working. see _xhp_ Rivatuner dll and tendomslip1s tutorial. dracos Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 No I don't have smart enabled in bios, I did, but it kept telling me that my second drive has a problem and needs to be replaced, the drive is fine actually... And I looked in MBM and didn't find a setting to enable it... and if I can see the temp in lavalys without smart enabled why not in mbm? i don't use rivatuner, so I don't really know, I have it here somewhere though, I will have to re-install it I guess and see what happens.. I'd be concerned about that, no offense intended but I've had issues with Maxtor SATA and IDE. If SMART is telling you an issue I'd have that drive checked again. 1st page of settings - general - basic - at bottom of page. It's in thread somewhere Same reason Everst/Lavalys calls the PWMIC the "motherboard" I guess Let us know how RivaTuner works for you. just read the last couple pages here. I ran all maxtor tests I could from windwos and dos, but no errors or nothing on that drive.. go figure.. ok back to mbm... I checked and it is enabled in the settingd for the hdd... as for rivatuner, i just installed it.. where do I find the temp in rivatuner? Flybye Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I just tried it and it works fine for me with my BFG 6800 Ultra OC. Also have latest NVIDIA drivers installed. Core and MEM clocks would be great, too. As it will allow me to not to even have to run Riva tuner. Again many thanks to soundx98 and _xhp_. I've been out for a bit and didn't see _xhp_ in these parts before. I guess he's been giving soundx98 a big hand Hmm....curious.....what is going to happen with the sensors if I go SLi? SaFrOuT Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Yes it is set to Custom and the plugin is started i see it worked for a 6800GT user but the same error for a 7800GTx user as mine when i just now stopped and started again the plugin the names of the sensros were changed to GPU ambient & GPU core , this is corect right ? but still the steady ready -52C for both sensors I am using LEadtek 6600 PCI-e with the latest driver Version: 77.72 and nf4 drivers version 6.66 I also have coolbits 2 installed to be able to O/C my card from the nvidia console, does knowing this solve my problem and i only need to uninstall coolbits @Gutterdude do u also have coolbits installed ? can u see my sig now guys, i guess it was an error from the hosting site Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Plugin requests data only from display 1... NV display properties ca not even display two temps. Rivatuner has specific sensor plugins - these might still work...
