soundx98 Posted June 16, 2006 Posted June 16, 2006 Check under temps "should display sensor" and use the drop down menu to select the HDD. You probably have it set at "custom" or "none". If it's anywhere near being new it should support S.M.A.R.T. Make sure it is set to display in dashboard and hit apply. If that doesn't work: Open dashboard all the way and release padlock, There is a chance that another "sensor box" is on top of it and "hiding" it. Since you've rearranged the dashboard it may have popped up underneath. Don't forget to lock the padlock again

soundx98 Posted June 17, 2006 Posted June 17, 2006 I think I've mentioned it before but I'm absolutely enthralled by this program. Good find! MBMlog has been giving me trouble, I ended up disabling it. This is just what the doctor ordered! Live ftp upload and signature taglines sounds interesting, and much playing can be had here lol. I haven't even installed it and I'm thinking of registering it lol. Guest Blooz1 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 As the owner of a new nF2 "HO", I've got a question in conjuction with MBM5. When you set up MBM5 on an A64 system, the temp sensors 1,2 and 3 give you the CPU, PWMIC,and Chipset. On the nF2 Ultra-Infinity, what are these corresponding sensors reading? (I'd like to have 'em labeled correctly!)
soundx98 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Feel guilty as that config file for the NF2 is about 2.5 years old. Actually the 1st one is the Case Temp or System temp (sensor is located somewhere in the middle of the board) The second one is the CPU Temp. the third one MAY be the CPU diode Actually if I remember I have it set up on a Diode sensor and it causes it to read low. BUt everyone was freaking out when it jumped up to the 50's so I changed it to a lower value. Now the fourth one is supposed to be the NF2 chipset. It seems to track pretty well. BUT as far as I have found there is no mention of a temp sensor on the NF2 chipset so I doubt if it is really the chipset. ATO Tool and _xhp_'s plug-in both work fine on the NF2 as well. As do all the other MBM5 functions and additional programs. I think the critical thing to do is use a DMM to measure the 3.3, 5, and 12 v rails and then calibrate them. Links to calibration are in the 1st post in thread. There is also a discussion in the NF2 section. (Poor Neo, will he ever get over being so shy) http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21575 If you come up with anything let me know and we can always change info in the section Blooz1. I'll try and pull my son away from WoW and get you some more info from his UI.
jetjaguar Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 any chance this working with quad sli ?
soundx98 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Not a clue How many different temp readings are there on a 7950? Same with clocks. Is there a single core/mem clock speed that tracks both GPUs on the card or are they separate. Two CPU temps on the card or one? Enough sensors in MBM5 but the plug-ins may not work. Good question. You're a nerd aren't you
_xhp_ Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 any chance this working with quad sli ? Not without some alterations (don't think quad sli was even possible when I made the plugin ). If there are anybody here that has quad SLI tell us if you can se all of the temperatures in the NV display properties (if you can the plugin can probably be modified very easy). Guest Blooz1 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Thanks, soundx! So I was right about the first two, which were the one's I'm most interested in. My CPU temp seems kinda high when compared to the first one, which is why I was wondering. (Then again, it's warm and humid here lately!)
