yes, you are nuts and yes there are two different steps "dll" and "ini" :)

I was trying to make -xhp_'s post clearer.

Follow my complete instructions for best full operation.

Thanks for confirming my mental status :D

My High/Low log looks like yours except mine shows GPU Ambient at 0 while yours doesn't log it.

Do you get Memory clock and Core clock in dashboard or just High/Low

I don't think you can get GPU Ambient enabled on 7800GT

(at least I never have been able to)

You need to tell MBM5 to display those sensors in Dashboard by checking the box -

display this sensor in the dashboard screen

(you do have your dashboard open all the way and they aren't being hidden or anything?)

I've done all that, still no memory clock or core clock in dashboard

hmm, that usually that means they are hiding :) or plug-in is not enabled.

Open up dashboard all the way, unlock the padlock to make sure they don't have another "box" over them.

Move some sensors around.

Mem clock is sensor 21 and core clock is sensor 22

That did the trick (unlock) :) Thanks for the patients w/us software challenged.

Love my MBM5

Now if I could just reconfigure the dashboard to get rid of the GPU and GPU Env to replace them w/core clock and mem clock.....tweakers never satisfied

Easy, :)

go to GPU and GPU Env in MBM5 settings (Temps/Visual) and tell MBM5 not to display them in dashboard by "unchecking" the box.

Unlock Padlock and more the "boxes" around.

Make sure you lock the padlock when finished.

when you go to "position" in the screensaver you can use you mouse to move things into the right "position". Just drag them.

All credit to it's author, Alexander Van Kaam, _xhp_ for the kewlaz plug-ins, and all the DFI members that posted questions and answers.

Special thanks to the "special needs" members brave enough to post problems so others can get a walk-through on set-up. :D

I had OCed the 7800gt a little and set the alarm to go off at 70C,after about 5-10 min. while running rthdribl and watching the High/Low GPU core in MBM5.

When it hit 70C the alarm went off just like it should, love this proggy
