soundx98 Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 running at 1:1. I wish I could tell you to run x settings to get you there, but you know it doesn't work that way. Power supply has made a huge difference for me, as well as many correctly positioned fans. trial and error, trial and error, and a lot of good luck. hope it works out for you. Did you try the Spiderman Underoos?

rafalexp Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 To Hellfire: Thank you. I am so happy... Finally found a sweet spot with my rig. Don't really know how I did it. Knowing the time I spent struggling with it. My last stage was getting random freezes with high I/O activity due to APIC. No I can run memtest overnight and prime for more than 8 hours. I used Mprime for Linux for now... Will try under winXP soon.

Thanks for all your work Hellfire. 255 fsb (CPC ON) And to think this exact same setup would only do 180fsb on my 8RDA+.:shake: CPUZ 1.

SnaRf Posted September 21, 2004 Posted September 21, 2004 Well, here's an interesting question. I got some nice Corsair RAM the other day. Apparently it runs the new Samsung TCCDs (Is that right?) Anyhoo, can anyone recommend a BIOS? 3eg Rev3? Reason I ask is coz it's "Optimezed" for BH5, not so?
