IVIYTH0S Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 (edited) ^ should know that the i7 doesn't need to OC too high to beat the e8400 or <'s Q9450 to a sparky pulp Edited October 26, 2009 by IVIYTH0S

IVIYTH0S Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 if ^ wants to talk numbers how come ^'s dual core has not matched or exceeded <'s quad's clock speed??
Compxpert Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 (edited) ^ and ^^ should know that < can't i7 very high. It should do 4ghz and does post.... but pretty much instantly BSODs 2-10minutes after booting into vista at no matter what voltage... also won't post at anything between 282 BCLCK and 300 but will boot at 300 for the unstable 4ghz... On the bright side the E8400 is equipped with a Thor's Hammer and the awesome Storm Sniper for awesome overclocking goodness. < needs a D0 i7 Edited October 27, 2009 by Compxpert
