ClayMeow Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Nah, I don't OC not because I'm poor, but rather because I'm lazy. Â 1) no patience to take the time to find a stable oc 2) been too lazy to get the watercooling I've been meaning to get for months now

guzzidom Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Not actually short of money, but with a baby on the way it is difficult to justify spending on my PC, HOWEVER I still O/c, but only to a point, for instance when I got my 6600gt I browsed to see what other people had acheived with it and then chose a point halfway between stock and THAT figure and aimed at that as my max o/c, sort of reassures my that I'm still well within my cards capabilities but I am still geting extra performance, look at my sig, most of that kit would go an extra 10% but I don't want to run the risks at the moment. Dimonicka Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Just the opposite for me. I OC cuz I am poor and can't afford better chips and GPU's. My 2500 runs like a 3200 and when the price comes down enough I will get a 3200 that hopefully will give me 4000 speed.
