ir_cow Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 Thats very sad for Equailhash. I get 800 when overclocked on my 1080Ti. The Lyra2REv2 lines up with what I've been reading on the BTC forums. I wonder what miner they used for Zcash, because it should be at least 1000Sol/s. The Titan V is equities to 2x 1070s for mining. I also did more reading on Tensor cores and basically its going to be useless for mining unless someone makes a Algo just for it. So we have to look forward to a rumored Ampere GPU (cut down Volta) with 5,736 CUDA cores.

ir_cow Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 Had a fun time figuring out CCMINER getting tagged as a virus ! Go figure. Other people said the same thing. It didn't flag on malware bites for me. 2.2.3 and 2.2.2 I linked work fine.
ir_cow Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 If anyone interested in these 1070 Ti cards. I've had very good results. Currently hammering a pair @ +200 core / 700 memory. Power limit 75 (for a week now) using DSTM miner / Eqailhash algo. Average 520 Sol/s 3.85 Sol/w. I was able to get 590 Sol/s when maxing out the card, but the extra 60-70sols wasn't worth the power power draw and heat. I would tell you which ones, but I kinda want to buy more and they are finally back in stock.
ccokeman Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 IM me. I'm still deciding on two 1070Ti's or a 1080 Ti. I would like to know which ones are clocking that well!

I'd be surprised if you hit roi quicker on a 1080ti then the two 1070ti.

ir_cow Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 IM me. I'm still deciding on two 1070Ti's or a 1080 Ti. I would like to know which ones are clocking that well! I'd be surprised if you hit roi quicker on a 1080ti then the two 1070ti. Yeah. I did the numbers based on my Sol average over the past few weeks. This isn't based on max clocks, but efficiency. 1070TI $460 520 Sol/s - 3.8 Sol/w (130watts~) 1080Ti $720 720 Sol/s - 3.4 Sol/w (203watts~) 1080TI is 39% faster but costs 56% higher. Two 1080Ti is roughly the same as 3x 1070Ti or $1440 vs $1380. The 1070Ti is slightly better if you don't mind more space being used. Max out settings 1070Ti $460 590 Sol/s - 3.1 Sol/w (190watts~) 1080TI $720 790 Sol/s -2.6 Sol/w (293watts~) Once again its about the same. The 1080TI is 38% faster and 56% higher cost. So buy what you have money and space for in my conclusion.
scr4wl Posted December 25, 2017 Posted December 25, 2017 That's probably a fair conclusion. The amd cards actually return very quickly as well.., but then you don't earn as much in comparison after you've hit roi on the nvidia cards. (Although some days my rx 480's actually earn more then my 1080tis.., not very often though).
