Need Your Help

Recommended Posts

Hey fellow geeks -- school semester is wrapping up and I need your help with a couple quick surveys!

They are super simple -- and don't require you to READ! OMG!!!

Just look through the images and rate them as described in the survey...

-This is an AWFUL picture

-Not great, but not horrible

-Okay I guess

-Better, but something seems wrong

-Seems like a normal image to me

It's pretty obvious whats going on after you get through a few, but try to stay focused on what you actually find appealing.

Feel free to compare similar images in your choices; but most of all be HONEST.

Thanks to any and all who choose to help -

Apologizes for two links...I'm cheap

UPDATE:

Thanks to EVERYONE who helped out by taking this silly surveys. It meant a lot -- my professor was happy and surprised at how much feedback I got in such a short time. You guys are GREAT!!!

Anyway -- for those curious about what the hell it was you were looking at; it wasn't just filters and crap...it was actually a re-implementation of THIS paper. Quite simply it's "just" the combination of a flash and non-flash image...taking the best of both worlds to reproduce a "better" resulting image.

The concept best applies to night images and low lighting obviously...and my implementation was quite weak compared to what it could have been...but not bad considering it was all written in MATLAB

Anyway -- AGAIN, so much thanks, wow, doge.

:thx:

I'm confused why we are rating images based on filters and flash? I did it anyways.

Remain confused! (For now) I will explain more to those who care later...

Please if you do know keep it to yourself for now.

Thanks to everyone so far!
