You really thing its weird? Your talking Sandy bridge i7 @ 5.0Ghz vs 1st gen i7 @ 4.5Ghz.... huge gap in benchmark performance. Plus in the latest two driver updates for nVidia optimizations have been made for 3DMark11. And Speed doesnt even have 3x 6970's anymore. So your talking different processors with latest drives and blah blah blah.... Still its cool to see the difference, but if you ran the 6970's again with latest drivers and a SB i7 @ 5.0Ghz i think you'll find the 6970's would crush those 2 580's.
