Valve's new game (July 19th)

I was playing all day and night yesterday, The only problems i had was a strange lag/freeze for a few seconds then id get booted to the main menu, though it didnt happen very often so i Love this game, really hope it does well (in terms of popularity) Team Bravo2 FTW! lol

I couldn't help but smile at that popularity part, because it's completely owned CS:S as being the most played game this week, and it's still 4th on the list with over 27,000 people currently playing

 

Now that I think about it, I did have one problem with the game, in the 3rd level I think it is, the one where you have to wait for the elevator at the end anyway, I get a frame rate drop in the same exact area each time. It drops to about 10-12 at this spot where you go up some stairs on the left and head to a long hallway with some headspiders inside a room at the end, just right around that area with the stairs though.

 

Has anyone else had this problem?

It's a known problem no matter what your hardware is apparently

Its peak player count over the past 24 hours beats every other Steam game...amazing.

Depends on the mod community, IMO. Free games don't die off so quickly if they have support.

I also got some lag, although I think it was in the 4th level, it may have been a lot of smoke? Not exactly sure.

 

Great game though, but we did get pwned in the 4th level with those damn Head Crabs(Copy of HL? )

LoL yeah it was awesome.. though you did get to team kill me spectacularly oh how many times was it? and i've actually beaten insane once before, this was my 2nd time.. im not sure if i have the achievement for it though.

What level were you guys when you started it?

 

I've only played the game for an hour, so I think I'm only level 5 or 6.

 

PS. Playing with random strangers, there was no TKing and very little friendly fire in general. Sounds to me like CowKing did it on purpose
