The quality of this case is incredible. The only plastic on the thing is the case fans, EVERYTHING else is aluminum. ebarone Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Looks slick, but how are you going to fit an H50 into there?
sdy284 Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Looks slick, but how are you going to fit an H50 into there? those front fans are 120mm, it should fit rather easily. I've seen a few shots around the web of others squeeze an h50 in there
slick2500 Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Your building a 6 core HTPC? Wouldn't a dual core be more than enough cpu for that?

joel.monteiro Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 HTPC need a good and fast processor , a gpu in not necessary u should use the 4200 onboard.
Waco Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 (edited) a gpu in not necessary u should use the 4200 onboard. For high definition hardware decoding the 4200 *might* be enough but it's certainly not something you want to do purely in software. I have a decent card in my HTPC simply because I like to game on it from time to time and run music visualizations during parties. For the moment all of my ripped movies are SD. and i haven't decided yet if I'm going to get an actual bluray player, or go with a bluray-rom drive. And if it comes down to it, i have a GTX260 thats currently folding in my 939 rig that i could always throw in

My dual will do just fine in a HTPC Plus, my case is cooooler J/K keyword: Just fine but no, I knew when i was going to purchase a CPU for this that I had every intention of folding on it, & dual cores are pretty much useless PPD-wise. and I really couldn't find any decent pricing on x4's and then the x6's came out and i couldn't resist getting AMD's top of the line processor for $220 (after MIR and BCB)
