Hmmmm windows says that there is only 131062 MBs on the drive even though its 160 gig. I guess i'll have to figure that out later.

I'm also creating a partition, 30 gigs for windows and progs, and the rest for the rest.

That's a Win2k issue. I believe you have to have at least service pack 2? Not sure, but anyway your drive probably should have been broken up into smaller partitions. I got lost awhile back as to wether you were installing Win2k or XP :shake:

Edit: Check that...You already did  :shake:

*BEER FOR ALL**

In disk management for the unallocated part of the drive, do i want to do a PRIMARY PARTITION or an EXTENDED PARTITION ?

Otherwise everythin looks good!

Guess i should install drivers now. hehehe

also, i didn't install the Karajan module yet, did i screw myself or can I do that later?

Your main concern is getting the system up and running with a minimum of hardware installed. It's easier to add one component at a time, get it right then move on to the next. All at once can get real confuzin...............

Questions: 8(

1) drive partion question (above)

2) Karajan Module----Never mind (thanks oldguy)

3) What should I do first? Flash to the newest Bios? (any guides on how to do that?)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Also big shout out to everyone helped me get this far.

It has taken me about 19 hours thus far. heheheh

Scariest parts were:

#1 Clipping the XP-90 to the CPU. (heard stories of CPUS cracking) lol

#2 Apply the thermal paste, I wasn't sure i did it right and I also though i thought it was currosive and when I got some on my hands I freaked out. hahaha

#3 Finger going numb after making contact with multiple fans.

Most Annoying:

#1 Figuring out how the case works and how to put things in.

Most helpfull:

#1 hmmm, this is an easy one. YOU GUYS.

i'll post up some photos soon for the non-belivers out there! :shake:
