InVeNtOr Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 i have to say i LOVE mb5! now for the question. i have the SCRIPT to show the RPM'S for the dfi chipset fan and the cpu 120 fan. what i don't have is a reading from them. how do i get mb5 to read the rpm's for the cpu fan and the chipset fan? is there a program that i need to get like ati tool for the gpu? soundx98 Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 well you need to create the script. The snugglemeister did one that I like an awful lot. details in the post here http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...&postcount=1355 EDIT: I've added the link top the 1st post to make it easier to find in the future. allthatwhichis Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 :tooth: I'm not sure if this has been posted yet, but if you are using MBMlog, you can change the temp graph to what ever sensor you want in the MBMlog.ini file. The temps are right up top. This way you don't need AtiTool on.

InVeNtOr Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 thats what i said in the post....i have the script. it shows in my osd. it just doesn't have a value. my mb5 won't read my chipset or cpu fan rmps. script i have, the readings i don't. soundx98 Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 does it show them in the MBM5 dashboard? Evercool certainly has RPM sensing capabilities. Not using a Panaflo for the CPU are you? EDIT: Here is the last scripy I directed you to. Your fans may be named differently F1VRpm F2VRpm F3VRpm
InVeNtOr Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 yes the chipset and 120 fan show up, just not the readings. i am using the evercool vc-re and freezer 64. i am going to take the script you have on tread 1399 and use over write the existing one. the only thing that is not working is the actuall readings from the fans. InVeNtOr Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 fans 1 and 3 won't show a reading.
InVeNtOr Posted May 20, 2006 Posted May 20, 2006 this might explain the problem. i checked in my bios and the fans rpm doesn't read there also. i physically checked both fans and they are plugged in and actually working. is there a bios option that i just missed somehow? also i set ALL my temp setting to 25 degrees. that is correct right?
