romeo55 Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Pros somewhat protible Cons expensive than desktop counterpart doesn't perform as well as desktop, (IE no dual channal) about 30 minutes of battery life heavey did i mention expensive no ability to upgrade I just don't see the point with gaming with a laptop.... There just isn't any logical reason to have an uber gaming laptop IMO.
BarneyGumble Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 I want one! I spend a lot of time in airports and in airplanes. The only drawback would be the battery life, but most terminals have plenty of wall plugs, I could get an extra battery for time spent on the plane. savethedodobird Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 My friend has a laptop similar to those. Its useless for about anything other that using at a desk. Cause their heavy and get less that 20 mins of battery life. So if you want a desktop that you can occasionaly move thats the way to go. But because of the batery life you cant go anywhere away from a wall outlet.
