I guess I'll cry in my beer....wait a minute, I quit drinking. I guess I'll just have to cry then.

Valentines Day isn't anything to cry over

I think theres enough comercialism in the real holidays, so i don't observe fake ones made up to fill the gaps between the real ones.

:withstupid: couldn't have said it better myself. I mean, what's the obsession with this baby flying around in a diaper with a bow and arrow anyways?

Anyways, I'm contemplating buying a dozen roses and giving one to each of the females on my team at work (there's 10 of them if I counted correctly). I dunno if that's too sappy or not though. If I do it, I may try and get yellow roses if I can find them. For one, it's not as cliche as a red rose, and secondly, technically, yellow roses represent "friendship" or some crap like that. lol.

If I had a girlfriend I'd buy her something. Maybe some fake roses. I'm sure she'd think I was above other men because I realized that fake roses last forever and the dorks buying real roses are only buying a gift that will last a couple of days.

I don't understand why this holiday is such a big deal for single people. I mean, it's a Hallmark holiday for people with significant others. If you don't have one, you don't have to "celebrate". It's nothing to cry over.

Plus, if you're crying over the fact that you don't have a gf, you should seriously re-check your priorities. Not having a gf isn't the end of the world, especially if your just a teenager. You'll have plenty of opportunities later on in life. Also, keep in mind that sometimes people aren't particularly in a relationship during this time of year, yet they might be during another holiday, like Easter (not too far from Valentine's Day) or Christmas.
