If you are talking about the Intel Extreme Edition processors with 2 MB of lvl 3 cache, than the extra 2mb cache just makes the processor perform better with the extra onboard memory... http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc....-116-169&depa=0

I would not really get intel I hear bad things about intel all the time. Intels use HT hpyerthreading if your wonder about that.

more people use intel cpus then amd so worker THINK before u post . Go to bestbuy and take sony for example. Every sony computer is intel, i think the only company that uses amd is compaq/hp. So amd is more for custom builders while intel is for people who dont giv a s*** about what they are getting they just want it to be "fast"

I think about 80% of the comps that I see are intel. Only people I know with amd are people like me who built their own computer :-P

Back on topic, I would love to try out one of those 3.2 EE chips. Unfortunately way too freaking expensive. I do a lot of video editing, so intel is the only thing I will use.

What intregues me is when the EE moves to a presscott-2 based core a tthe 3.7 gig level, 1066 FSB, 2 MB L2 cache ! what are they goign to ahve for L3? still 2 MB? or 3-4MB? now that will truly be extreem !!!!

I was talking about about people who build there computers. I know moslty all computers sold use intel processors. Even my PDA use a Intel XScale 400 MHz processor.
