Which Case

case#1 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...3718&CatId=1509

not bad, like the blue, but the white seems kinda weird. i like the solid side panel which leaves room for a custom side job ^^ but i hate how it limits how many 3.5" bays you can have. it gives u 2 and 2 internal so with a floppy dirve, u can only have 3 hds which suck because i already have 3 (a 120, 40 and 40) but i wanna buy a 4th one later on, but with that case i can't do that :( plus it doesn't have headphone+mic jacks at the front which will be annoying everytime i wanna put my headphones when i play CS.

case#2 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/ca...ge=3&CatId=1509

the color seems a little weird but its cheap. has a lot of internal 3.5" bays for extra hds :) and front headphone+mic jacks. and it comes with a power supply. but the glass seems odd. a friend of mine has a similar case, and her glass is a little scratches up, and there's dust inside, and i dont want to do all that cleaning. and do they have extra side panels? i couldn't find any. extra side panels for when i want to do a custom job.

case#3 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&Tab=1&NoMapp=0

i like the new silver 1 a little more then the black 1. its nice :) the lights at the front seems blah to me. i usually leave the comp on at night and that might get annoying. and the side panel. same problem as case#2, can i buy solid panels for it to do a custom job? it has front audio jacks which is good and a lot of internal bays

case#4 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/ca...ge=4&CatId=1509

the black version of #3, its not bad but i like the gray 1 :)

case#5 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...5237&CatId=1509

i like the blackness. and it leaves room for a lot of custom jobs like with the front and side, but 1 of the reasons why it annoys me is because it only has only 3 3.5" bays for a harddrive. and i already have 3, where will i put my new 200 gig which i will buy?

case#6 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...7097&CatId=1509

just like case #2, but black and blacks always good :) 1 problem.. the side panel, do they have solid ones i can work off?

some other cases i looked at but didn't give much thought

** for the cases that come with modded side panels, can i find original ones that are solid so i can do my own modding? and for the case with the front glass panel will they get scratches up easily? **

yea but i'm gonna stick with tigerdirect cuz they screwed me over. i first ordered a yellow cheiftec case from them and it wasn't yellow so i got that returned for a black case, and now that 1s broken so i'm returning that for another one. dang them!

and i dont care if its not cuztomised, i wanna do some of the customizing myself like the side panels (if i can eve buy extra ones for some cases?)

good luck getting anything more than a hassel from tigerdirect

Absolutely. Not only did they hang up on me on the phone they gave me so much crap when I went to the store and talked to them in person. I no longer buy from them or recommend any one to buy from them.

But back to the topic I have worked with some of those Chieftech cases and I like them considered them for one of my own rigs.

I can personally attest that #6 is a steaming pile of cheap parts. As for my opinion on which one you should get....maybe #1 or #5...I like simpler designs with good airflow and not too many flashy lights...both of those need the front flap deal open in order to get to your drives which I find an annoyance though.

well i like the cheiftec cases to. u can easily hide the flashy lights just by closing the flap :-P

but gah if they had a few more internal 3.5" bays i would be happy and consider them. isn't there any way to add more?
