I can't remember all my cards. lol....Here is all I can remember....

1x VooDoo3 3000 - back in the day.

1x FX5200 - This card was so bad I didn't even bother to remember the manufacture.

1x Jaton FX5600 - First card I OCed.

1x Sapphire Radeon 9250

1x MSI Radeon 9800 Pro - This was one of those rare bad boy OCer's from MSI with the green PCB. To this day this is still may favorite OCing card.

1x Sapphire Radeon X800XT

1x Sapphire Radeon X800XT-PE - This card was a pretty good OCer too.

4x Evga 7900gt SS - I have had four of these because I had to RMA the first set I got. These have been the worst OCing cards I have ever had. They won't complete a bench at more than 15mhz above stock on the core and 50mhz above stock on the mem.

I have had many others but these are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head.

My first 3 computers didn't have video cards (TRS80, Vic20, Commodore 64). CGA (color graphics adapter) in my 8088, prolly Cirrus Logic in my 286 and Trident in my 386 after that I had just about every card that came out.Matrox (killer in it's day), Diamond Stealth, S3, Hercules. It's all a blur to me now, 25 years of ancient history.

  • 2 years later...

Way to bump it after almost 3 years :D

I was wondering why the GPU's on the first page all seemed, well, rather old, looked at the date posted and found my answer haha.

Haven't been building computers as long as most of you guys and haven't had nearly as many cards, but I guess I'll post em o.o

ATI Radeon 7500 64mb AGP 4x, still running in my moms computer, got it the same day my friend did for my K7 rig and we were some of the first people in the area (or at least in our hoighschool) to run dual monitors on a home PC

ATI Radeon X850XT Platinum Edition 256mb PCI-E, one of the best GPU's I've owned (although I'm in love with my 9600's atm haha) ran cool, fast and solid as rock for the 3 years it was in my computer, now resides in my bros rig

Powercooler Nvidia GeForce 8500 PCI-E, not sure how much memory it had, got it for free from a friend of mine when he upgraded to a 4870, not terrible for a free card, but aside from the lack of SM3/4 support my old X850 ran circles around it, anyone know if it would make a decent physx card for a budget build?

Asus Nvidia GeForce 9600 GSO 512mb PCI-E, currently running 2 of these bad lads, and loving them, performance jump from my X850 was noticeable (I can play Bioshock now XD)

Hmmm

I *think* the first dedicated graphics card I had was a Geforce 2

then an

ATI 9800 PRO 128MB AGP ---- Bought this to play Battlefield 1942 and it was a great card to me and I even let my dad use it for a while until he didn't need it anymore, it then sat on a shelf for a year until my friend need an AGP videocard that could play Spore. I'm glad it's still running great to this day

Visiontek X850XT 256MB AGP ---- This card was an overclocking maniac (actually fried my first though from how severely it was OC'd, gotta love that lifetime warranty ;)) *Pretty sure this is still running strong in my other friends computer*

BFG 8800GTX 768MB PCI-E ---- Pricey as hell!! but let me play Crysis very smooth as well as Oblivion and the first Stalker. OC'd to Ultra levels, a great card no doubt

BFG 9800GTX 512MB PCI-E 2.0 ---- Never actually used this card as I bought the 4870 and sold this to a friend

ASUS 4870 512MB PCI-E 2.0 ---- OC'd like a beast and ran awesome until the ram went all funky and I had to RMA

EVGA 9800GX2 1GB (2x512MB) PCI-E 2.0 ---- Didn't like the driver issues and how my friend's 8600GTS played FarCry2 at higher settings. Sold on ebay, never got any negative feedback about it, more power to em :thumbs-up:

I then used my friends XFX 8600GTS 256MB PCI-E 2.0 since my 4870 died, it was a great little card and I sold it to a fellow OCC'r

ASUS 4670 512MB PCI-E 2.0 ---- Newegg mistakenly sent this as a replacement for my 4870 since they didn't stock that 4870 anymore and thought the 4670 was a 4870, never used the card and sent it back

BFG Core 216 260 896MB PCI-E 2.0 ---- I wasn't interested in the 260's until the core 216's debuted (and I heard that you can go into the bios and softmod up to the 280's voltage level :thumbs-up:), OC'd like a beast, Gave/Sold to my best friend for Christmas and took his XFX 9800GT for selling

2x Diamond 4870x2 2GB (2x1GB) PCI-E 2.0 ---- Actually sold the second since I only bought it to profit on it , but the first one I got had been looked forward to for quite sometime and when I finally get my 4870x2 I want nuts

HIS 4890 1GB PCI-E 2.0 ---- Liked the card but it can't play games like the 4870x2 does so I sold it (can't believe I almost got rid of the 4870x2 for the 4890)

BFG 8800GT 512MB PCI-2.0 (Physx) ---- Got from Pezcore and it runs great, physx now possible and helps boost my folding@home outputs when not gaming or physx'n
