Stonerboy779 Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 That's half as much as I would expect if it was sold in aus. I would totally buy that because 2x 512GB 840 pros here cost $1k
Locutus Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I remember when 1TB HDD's were around $200 so that's actually not that bad compared to the performance difference.

d6bmg Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Be gad for the fact that you are at least getting a discount on that drive.
IVIYTH0S Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Not bad considering its capacity AND the fact that it's a brick and mortar store offering it!
kennethk Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) Guys do you think I should get this and raid it with a 3tb hdd? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227943&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&PageSize=10&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&IsFeedbackTab=true#scrollFullInfo The only thing I have agains Raids is what if one of the drives go out? For $40 its not a bad deal fora 60gb ssd I could still back up a couple games or movies on it. Black64 Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Personally I have no need for fast storage, just as long as my OS drive is fast I am fine.

I want at least a TB of SSD to store my steam games a programs. Movies music and docs don't matter. However fast loading programs and games do

Maybe I could sell you a Kingston V100 64GB SSD I used to use in my HTPC since I threw in my Vertex 2 120GB into that. It still works great, I used it a couple days ago to make sure that XPS I was selling worked (it's kind of my throw in OS drive now...which I have plenty of other platter drives sitting around to act as) PM me if you're interested, I'll make you a good deal! (I'll even match the 3 month warranty of Newegg!) Edited October 25, 2013 by IVIYTH0S
