Boinker Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Darn. If you were in the lower 48, kind of figured you were not, i would have sent a processor. I wish my friend over in Germany named duff had more stuff. I would force him to send you a processor.

EuroFight Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 No problen - thank you for the thought Yeah it's annoying on the mobile version sometimes but it lets you use a lightweight version of the forums and I like it
d6bmg Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 How about getting a old GPU like GTX9800 or even a GT8800, and teat them with your rig? Just to see the result? I'm pretty sure that any of your friends using desktop will have those low end GPUs.
EuroFight Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 The only person I know with an AMD card has a GeForce GT210, and he is afraid to even open his rig, let alone touch anything inside it (yeah I've seen the dust). I'll probably buy something like a cheap GeForce GT610 from Amazon UK (
EuroFight Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 (edited) I ran a couple of tests today testing for BSODs and CTDs on each stick of RAM. Below are the results tested in the same slot; Â BF3 Stick 1: BSOD Stick 2: Very slow FPS after a period of time then CTD Â WoT Stick 1: Instant BSOD on load Stick 2: CTD 'Display driver AMD driver has stopped responding and has recovered' Â Conclusive? What are your thoughts? The RAM I have was bought from eBay (I only use Amazon now, it was before I learnt) from a manufacturer I hadn't heard of, GoodRAM. I bought it because it was cheap ( Edited December 15, 2012 by EuroFight
d6bmg Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I've said it more than once before, and saying again. These tests points to your graphics card. Although trying with a different RAM kit might just work in your favor.
EuroFight Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 I'll see what I can do, if the memory replacement doesn't resolve the issue, I'll check with an nVidia card

SpikeSoprano Posted December 16, 2012 Posted December 16, 2012 As I've said before, I would have the cpu tested before anything else, especially sence you've had this problem from the time you built this system. Hopefully is not a valid reason to be replaceing every other component.
