wevsspot Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Gary Johnson is who I voted for...but I hope Romney wins since it'll come down to him or Obama. You might as well have voted for Obama then We really need the independents to swing the electoral college in favor of Romney. I understand your vote on principle though, I voted Libertarian in our Senate Race.
Onion Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Actually, most people are just party sheep. It's sad really. I'll have to change it to "sometimes" lmao. And that's why this system doesn't work too well... Dictatorship anyone?
Waco Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 You might as well have voted for Obama then Eh, that's exactly why third parties never win...the point is to vote for who you want to win; not who think will win over your least favorite candidate. Besides, I'm in SC. This state almost always goes red anyway.

Exactly, i would love to vote on principle but sadly not voting for Romney is basically equivalent to voting for Obama in this system. paulktreg Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 OK I'm a Brit but I think Obama will win, just. Don't like Romney, he comes across as a little on the dim side, rather like Bush but then again you seem to like Presidents of limited IQ's! flareback Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Okay so there are three people that voted Johnson. That's a lot more than I would have thought given the number of posts so far. (btw, I'm the 3rd)

paulktreg Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 (edited) The combined spend by both sides in the presidential elections is 1.5 ~ 2.0 billion dollars. Does nobody find this a little disturbing? Edited November 6, 2012 by paulktreg
