El_Capitan Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 it's amazing how cheap people will sell you stuff Edited. $150's a steal for a server. I thought $400 for a 30" 2560 x 1600 was a good deal.
aspevacek Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 What I use for a clean look and ease of use when doing hoses. Is zip ties. I have used them for years with barbs. I got the idea when I was a BMW performance tech and we would use them on all the vacum hoses on our race cars. I tried it one time and have never thought about it ever again, plus most people keep piles of them at the house. You can even put them on so they are almost not even noticable and they are very easy to remove.

Boinker Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Worm drive hose clamps for compression fittings. Herbie clips such as tue ones you linked are too much of a pain in the rear. Worm drive clamps are cheap and can be replaced often as you like. Compression fittings will last indefinatly so long as you do not break or.cross thread them. Ans a compression fitting that does not have a rotary affixed to it can have its oring replaced and basically be brand new after that. Compression fitting $5 Barb fitting and clamp.$ 4.00 (price.will depend on fitting.purchased)

wevsspot Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 I use steel spring hose clamps. Although I've used about every clamp know to man without issue. These are affordable, reusable and the black coating makes them hard to see inside even a windowed case. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/10604/ex-tub-658/Steel_Spring_Hose_Clamp_for_34_OD_Tubing_-_Black.html?tl=g30c289s723 http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_953_954&products_id=24888

Boinker Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/xsg1to1idx3o1.html how about this one. I have payed almost that much for barbs. Lol
Tjj226_Angel Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 My vote is to ditch the clamps and go for compression fittings. I do like what Wev has pointed out, but you can never surpass the look and reliability of good compression fittings. Monsoon has some really nice ones. Hyper Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 http://www.sidewinde...1to1idx3o1.html how about this one. I have payed almost that much for barbs. Lol Hmm, the XSPC ones dont look too bad, lower profile then the Bitspower ones I've been using from the look of them. I've also been looking at the Monsoon one's for their different look...
