This week we would like to know if there are people out there that use Mail in Rebates? I know I've tried a couple and never got them but other people have got all of theirs. So do you try to get them?

Yes, I also keep track of which manufacturer's/resellers hold true to the MIR's as well.

Depends on the value of the rebate and the ease of doing it, though if it is parts for a customer I will almost always do it.

Yes.

My corsair one was rejected as it was for the previous month. The newegg blurb said valid through the end of the next month, i bought on the 27 of the month with a 34 day window to get it in, sent it in 4 days later and was rejected as the card i was sent was only valid for the previous month!!!

I've sent in a few. I rarely get products with them though, since sometimes the MIR may have a few days left when I want to buy a product. Best and fastest one I ever got was from Verizon on my last phone. Got the rebate back 2 days later since it only had to go to El Paso, TX.

No such thing in the UK (thank GOD!) so I put other.

I prefer my discount to be applied when I pay! Id get so annoyed if I saw an in-store price of £50, and then it turns out its actually £60, with £10 MIR. Mis-advertising if you ask me.

Send them in everytime. I have gotten every rebate back thus far, though obviously I have not done too many overall.
