Nyt Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Lol, how much did your full build cost? Yours and mine look fairly comparable, mind cost me $3000 in Canada, again minus the cable sleeving and watercooling. You shoulda stuck it out for the 7990, crossfire 7970's in a single card would be sick The prices in SA are terrible for new hardware, I wouldn't be able to afford a 7990 after my LGA2011 upgrade Prices for my setup i7 3930k - $768 Asrock Extreme9 - $454 4x4Gb G.Skill 2133mhz Ripjaws - $342 HD7970 - $903 AX1200 - $367 Case/mods/fans - $464 WC - $427 in total 32 Inch 100Hz TV - $671 Total : $4396

My build was $3000, will be around $3500 after watercooling and mods. I feel bad for you South Africans
Prunes Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Guys, you've all misunderstood. In South Africa things are backwards. Girls don't get impressed by the same things as they do on the northern hemisphere. In America and Europe girls like fancy clothes and loud nice looking cars. In South Africa it's extreme pc rigs that does the trick. Nyt has it all figured it out

Nyt Posted January 10, 2012 Posted January 10, 2012 Got it all installed. 1125mhz core and 1575mhz mem on stock volts baby ! My internet is troublesome so I couldn't get a validation but 3D Mark 11 gives me a score of P9360 with the 3930k @ 4GHz When I get my WC in 2-3 weeks, Im pushing for 10-11k Once theres Trixx to allow over 1125mhz and 1575mhz, I could go on to reach 1200mhz+ and 1700mhz+
