No one really used the class item sets in Diablo 2. Edited August 20, 2011 by Krazyxazn

No one really used the class item sets in Diablo 2. Not entirely true, just that the large majority of them were crap. There were maybe two really good sets...and then there was a quite a few sets where it 1-2 items + partial set bonus made them worth it. I just hope every set has entirely unique visuals. Everyone who is hardcore for the game uses practically the same setup. However the quality of their items may differ. bp9801 Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 Apparently adding mod support to D3 would increase the development time by two years. Two years to add mod support? Seems a little bogus to me.
nickk47 Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 (edited) Some set items were pretty decent, considering their price/performance ratio. You could get a whole Tal-Rasha or Immortals set for only a high rune or two. But anyone who's played knows that they are just a makeshift, and the good stuff is hella expensive! Seems a little bogus to me. Well its not like they are playing from something that was used for mods. If they were on Unreal Engine and then they said we can't support mods, then that is just silly. If its a proprietary engine, then yea, probably wasn't designed from the get go to do modding like Frostbite (originally a console engine).
