Gr4vitas Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I was disappointed with the chopper flying, was just like battlefield bad company 2. Nothing like battlefield 2. That was my favorite part of battlefield 2 was flying choppers, makes me really sad your so limited with these new choppers, you can't do any real flying. The gun gameplay though was awesome. Gremlin Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 So I am at Geforce Lan 6 held in Alameda held on USS Hornet in preparation for BF3.. There are 3 new maps to play.. Firestorm, Bazzar and I have no idea of the third one. I have been vounterring at the lan si missed the third map. I played firestorm and it is fing beautiful. 64 ppl conquest map and It looks more polished and beautiful than the beta.. They have fixed the bugs from beta and looks very smooth. No lag at all. Have been trying to go during the tournament area for the new maps but I have been going at the wrong times. Did I mention Operation Firesorm was beautiful.. If no picks you up at your faction spawn point, it will take a while to reach a cap point. The tournament machines have 2 gtx580 's in sli and at 1920 x 1200 resolution.. I don't think that the article is referring to Crysis 2's optimization, but rather how it was a poor product compared to Battlefield 3 and would not carry much incentive for people to purchase a new computer for the game. Played the game in 3D and is not bad it is still smooth.. They changed the knifing thing.. Meaning when you do a knife from behind, it is more quicker than before. Apparently the game will be playable at Midnight PST on October 24th / 25th, 2011. Each person who pre order will be sent their activation code prior to release and will able to activate it on the launch of the game. Thanks to BF3Gamer for the heads up!
