Kamikaze_Badger Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 http://www.chicagobreakingnews.com/2010/04...er-midwest.html That has the best pictures of the event. Felt it last night at around 10 while watching TV, it shook the entire house and lit the town up. Everyone was getting up and out of beds to see what had happened. Sadly I missed the lightshow other than the bright flash .

wevsspot Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 That has got to be one of the wildest things I've ever seen. My wife tells me I spend too much time watching Syfy "disaster" movies. Now I have proof that they are true!

WhenKittensATK Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 (edited) They actually go for a lot of money depending on what type it is and size. There is a show on TV called Meteorite Men that just go out into fields and find old impact sites. They found some big ones they clean them up and sell it to Universities and etc. I wonder who gets dibs on something like this. Does the government step in and recover it? Or is it a free for all? With the old impact zones its more of a finders keepers unless its on private property. Edited April 15, 2010 by Krazyxazn
