Onion Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I like gentoo, DSL (damn small linux), and ubuntu. Ubuntu is one of my favorites since it's so damn simple to use and it boots instantly.
cold_snipe Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 One vote for slack. Plus LFS, that was fun.. But it took up a good amount of time. Sure learned a lot, though!

suchuwato Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I don't use Linux any more, but Gentoo and the various Ubuntu flavours are my favourites.

Also running Ubuntu. I think this old hard drive is going as it doesn't boot instantly! I got tired of Windows and it's activation policy and I currently have the time. Even the wife can use it for web browsing and word processing no problem.
labatt_splatts Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 I think America's Army can run on linux, at least it used to. There's Doom 3, Quake 4, Quake Wars and a lot of Enemy Territory mods. Otherwise there's not much for new commerical games.

Ferretbomb Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Am using fedora 10 but will try gentoo and debian in near future. Have not been successful with games under wine, but have been too busy to give it a real go. Got plenty of time to play coming up though
