AMG Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 at the moment I perfer ATI, when I was out looking for a HD4870 I looked on the fourm, and I saw ppl RMAing thier nvidia cards due to dead cores. so I brought a ATI and never regreated it. Okay the drivers are **** but than again unlike nvidia ATIs drivers are more advanted (more to go wrong) but at the end of the day I would buy ethoir. now to the real point of this post, I throught ATI was brining out the HD58xx o_O ethoir way thanks for sharing must be just a smallier die size to the currnet HD48xx

This is just to combat the current 280 and 295 which still hold the single and dual gpu records for performance. The 5 series is meant to battle the gtx 300 series
AMG Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 any ideas on price for the 49xx?
Krieg1337 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 any ideas on price for the 49xx? Probably around $250-$330. I bet its gona be in the low $300's and high $200's. Or maybe less because of the small core, not sure though.
