Guest Timmay Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 That entry was invalid. Check your entry. Is it me, or do all his windows in there look photoshopped.

soundx98 Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 The "cheat" by big poppa pump, found in the OCDB by ExRoadie http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...7&postcount=266 is really bothering me. Photoshoping screenshots in the OCDB and then posting them in the 3G club thread is totally shocking. It's a huge slap in the face to all those that made entries in both the OCDB and SSDB. I know that those who re-did their entries mutiple times to get them right and those that have submitted multiple entries in the OCDB must be extremely angry. But TheFlowerKing has done a lot of fine work in this thread and the 3G Club has produced many new entries. I would suggest we put the cheat topic to bed and get back to overclocking. TheFlowerKing Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 I fully agree with soundx98, I know that at the end of the day you are only cheating yourself but it does cheapen legitimate users when someone is able to slip through the cracks. What worries me the most is that 3G seems to be the motive behind the fraud. Let's hope that's the last we see of that. (Sorry to bring the cheat thing back up soundx98, just had to give my depressed 2c). Let's clock!
CPDMF Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Speaking of hitting 3 G's. This X2 3800 I have will not be making an appearance in the GGG club. 2700 primes and runs all benches but it kicked me back to the desktop playing BF2 at 1AM so 2650 is where it stays. On another note. The 148 is now resting comfortably in an Ultra-D just waiting for a PSU to arrive. I'll spend a couple of days making sure the board is going to play nice and then it will be time to void the warranty and make fog. For BF2, try upping the volts (if you can safely) a bit more, As BF2 is a VERY sensitive game.
CPDMF Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 The CPU is actually for a rig I'm building my dad so I set a limit of 1.46 volts that way I can build his rig set it up and never give it a second thought. Having FX-60 speeds should keep him happy. BF2 is always a good stability test for me. If I can get on a 64 player map for 3 or 4 hours at a stretch it's all good. TheFlowerKing Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 I'm not expecting to see any 3800+'s hit 3G's, hence why I'm thinking of a 4200+ or 4600+ IF I get another chip (I want to go 512k cache cos they clock higher apparently). Man, I need a copy of BF2 to play online, I think I need to bite the bullet and spend money on something OTHER THAN computer parts or petrol.. Clay Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 Why would someone want to cheat on something like that,it's a personal accomplishment. Unless maybe there is somehow money involved. I know nothing about photoshop but the cpuzs looked kinda' iffy to me. I got a better 32m superpi. I did some windoors tweak's and got rid of the internet on that rig lol.(I'm so proud ) Well it seems 32m pi stable @300X10.(At not too bad voltages either.) Won't prime if my life depended on it though. Tried about 6times (Raised the vid abit each time)The last time I got a restart. So Hummm.... I said enough of that for now! Probably a timing running too tight. I'll werk on that some more.
