pmrdij Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 ok good to know that the disabling of the ULi RAID management tool does nothing longterm towards solving this.. i am seeing my future and it is a several hundred dollar RAID card with this motherboard... i was planning on spending that money on a DX10 card... If you use PCI you will get a MAX of 133MB/sec which is a joke for a RAID array with >2 drives. :-( If PCI-e will it squeeze in between the two (potentially) gfx cards and what would that do for the air-flow. Please see this http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60680 this card was nice, very small, and wouldnt block any air flow really, i was really happy with it, size wise, but windows would not see any drives on it. drivers for card loaded fine. raju Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 I dare to say that the bèta driver does NOT fix the issue! The problems are all gone untill you do a cold boot. The first 2 cold boots Windows would not even load and stressing the HD right after a sucessfull boot will result in a few errors and lockups! I checked out the link you provided. I'm not sure if it's helpful seeing as I am not connected to a server.
