Very cool cats man...I especially like the black/white kitty...looks like it has some 'tude :)

Then some lamer complained here at the forum "boo hoo he's angrygames and it makes me shiver in fear!!!" along with "omg he's soviet socialist hockey??? he's tooooo scary!!!! we'll never buy DFI ever again!!!"

so now I am happy_games and as of January 1st, I will just be "Travis" since it appears that even "Happy_Games" is too offensive to those that are too sensitive to get a life...

I feel for ya...I'm a server mod for a SWBF clan and I get those types constantly. Some peeps are just awful when it comes to being civil....oh well.

I think we understood the situation just fine as you described it.

Seeing as how I've experienced it firsthand, I really don't think you do.

especially when you are basing it on your core beliefs.

And that's why I keep saying you don't know the situation, because that isn't the case. I could be Hugh Hefner but if my friend was getting hurt I'd still do what I could to help.

But you need to understand...if you want an opinion, you had better be ready to accept it when it doesn't match yours.

This is why I'm calling it a mess... because regardless of what I say nobody will believe me. I already told you, I don't care what anyone's opinion is. If it's your opinion that I'm lying, well I guess I don't care about that either. My regret about this whole situation is that people are responding to questions not asked, giving advice concerning situations that aren't happening, and calling me a liar when I say it's not the case.

this isn't a mess

this is discussion

Then it's a messy discussion. Case-in-point, what we're talking about has nothing to do with my original question. ;)

Whatever. I'm not emotional, just tired and not making much sense. And since I can't get the cops involved it's a moot point to begin with.

My problem is that I described a scenario and asked a question, and instead of answering the question all anyone did was try and tell me why the situation was not what I was describing.

then you really need to work on your communication skills because if we didn't understand you in all your rambling and long posting, how can you communicate anything to anyone?

I feel like you described the situation pretty well, but because you didn't get the answer you wanted, you are now doing the backpedal and telling us we simply don't have a clue what you are trying to say.

You are the one who tried to explain it to us. It is up to you to explain it to us correctly. If you tell us something is blue, and we tell you that the shade of blue is not what you expected it to be, then you come back and say no no it was not blue dammit it was green...what can you expect of us?

That is because the situation IS NOT what you have described. You see it with the eyes of a child whereas us olden folk see it for what it REALLY is. You'll figure this out later.

Do as you wish, but involving yourself in a situation that doesn't involve you at all will only make things worse...trust me. Just let it be :)

Cool cat

I got a Tabby that'll close to match that, maybe even beat 22lbs.

I should take him to the vet sometime just to get him weighed. He's too "wild" to restrain him long enough on the bathroom scale.

"Meow" AKA "Big Red", "Garfield", "Fatty Boom-Batty"

Edit;

Btw, my 15 months old son naps on that mini-couch, they probably weigh close to the same.

I had a cat that used to drop her hard food into her water to soften it and then she would eat it. I think it's because I fed her wet food for a few weeks to fatten her up after adopting her from the Humane Society. I guess she liked the wet so much she would drown her hard food lol

The problem is, you don't know the girl. Now in my experience, older people tend to be more cynical and often times think they know everything. See it works both ways, and I'm sure you don't appreciate it either. But it's true, because despite not knowing the girl, you assume she is just like every other teenage girl out there, or that every teenage girl is exactly the same, and respond accordingly.

That's where the problem was, not in my communication skills. I (or so I thought) was pretty black and white when I explained the situation. I received answers that I did not want, not because they were differing from my opinion but because they did not apply to the situation. I tried to explain the situation again and politely say that I'm not an idiot, but I kept getting the same . back.

The situation is green and has been green since I first posted it. I'm only getting pissed off because everyone's trying to tell me it's really blue.

I like watching you cuss out noobs who come in here without a signature and try and say DFI sucks because their board wouldn't run with a 200w 20-pin Aspire PSU, but for this kind of advice I'm afraid I simply came to the wrong person.

And THAT is the bull crap I don't need. That is why I feel this is a mess. I know I said I don't care what anyone's opinion is, but calling me a liar really tests my patience.

Oh the red cat loves kneading on anything; the bed, my stomach and feet etc but he will not take more than 3 feet off solid ground. In the 6-7 years I've had him (found him at ca 2-4 years old abandoned) he has only completely sat on top of my lap 2 times but he's very affectionate, weird eh?

The Siamese on the other hand is like a dog; follows me around all day and whines for attention non-stop, but he's got most intriguing personality I've ever seen in a cat, and I've had all kinds.
