  1. hi, i just wanted to know if there really is going to be a 7000 series GPU by AMD? if so i wont be buying the 6950 Thanks
  2. on thursday i opened my laptop and replaced the thermal paste in less than an hour since it was overheating
  3. i reckon the corsair will be quieter, just becuase i have the TX650 and it is freakin silent
  4. i have the spinpoint F3 1tb and it sometimes becomes a bit sluggish but most of the time its fast
  5. no its $10 more than the 6790, i read in a Australian mag that the 6790 kills the 550TI in BFBC2 and other games.
  6. you still have to on the non-black edition CPU's right?
  7. will the temp of the CPU drop? i will you AS5 if i choose to put my CPU cooler on my Bros PC.
  8. your already at 4.1GHz with the 955 which is good, you dont have to overclock any further...or do you?
  9. i'm trying to get it to 4GHz when the gigabyte 990FX motherboards come out, i once got it to 3.8GHz but i thought the mobo would blow since its old
  10. i highly doubt they'll put a LCS as a stock 1) price 2) warranty
  11. Hi will my Phenom II 955 BE stock heatsink work on my brothers AMD athlon II X2 260? Thank you
  12. if its under 60*C your safe (under load) are you using a stock heatsink? if so those temps are decent. with a after market it will drop considerably
  13. or the cooler master Hyper TX3 keeps it cool and its small
  14. DIGI+ VRM = Digital Voltage regulator module which provides better overclocking, and lasts longer the VRM spread spectrum option, asus claims it enhances system stability
  15. im pretty sure you dont have to touch the settings of the VRM, you got the new ASUS mobo (VRM under large heatsink near cpu)
  16. im pretty sure Digi+VRM is by asus. the VRM is the Voltage regulator module, it supplies the CPU with the right voltage. good overclocking motherboards have solid capacitors and a high power phrase eg. 8+2 like the UD7 or UD5 or UD3 ect. the VRM should be left of the CPU socket (bunch of capacitors lined up, i have and AMD mobo) thats just a little definition from my prospective.
