blinky Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I haven't heard anyway of doing to. Only the FX range have completely unlocked multiplier, otherwise the maximum is the CPU's default.
dippyskoodlez Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I haven't heard anyway of doing to. Only the FX range have completely unlocked multiplier, otherwise the maximum is the CPU's default. its not possible to work around, like a wire trick, etc, because there is no longer a VID like the AXP. yes, your stuck with upping HTT, but eh.. nto so bad, when most boards can do 350+ and dividers work wonderfully. Angry_Games Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 this is why Rgone and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you save a little extra and get a cpu with a higher multiplier...it stinks getting stuck with a weak 9x multi...

GrossmeisterB Posted June 6, 2005 Posted June 6, 2005 I have no problem with the 9x multi so far...I'm at 9x322 (2898MHz) at the moment, 1.584Volts...so, no problems at all...it would help a bit to play around with different settings, that's true, but I can't see no other advantage...
